Venezuelan screenwriter and street artist Carlos Zerpa proposed me to make a streetart piece together. We wanted to create something inviting for all ages, so we came up with colorful characters which in our minds fit to the wonderland-like spirit of the location. Our plan was to combine South American and Nordic cultural references with the idea of inclusivity. The pictures naturally grew to present modern fairytale characters.
Community artists Pia Bartsch ja Meri-Maija Näykki were directing the process of our piece. We thank them for their trust, time and giving us a fun process together.
